Why I chose this costume
How I made this costume
From the moment his design was leaked back in 2020, I fell in love with Cyno's design and knew that one day I would be cosplaying him. The complexity of the build really brought me out of my comfort zone by trying new techniques and materials.
Materials used:
- Fabric
- EVA craft foam
- Worbla
- Resin
- Cricut cutter
- PVC pipe
The outfit had equal amounts of foam armor and flowing fabric, and everything was first patterned out using interfacing fabric.
The helm is a combination of EVA foam and worbla, with hand painted cotton adornments.
The polearm was created to be detachable and travel ready. It also has a gorgeous resin inlay on the blade.
