Why I chose this costume

How I made this costume

This project was a redesign of the Genshin Aranara to human form. As Genshin is such a popular fandom, I enjoy bringing to life some of the creatures of the world in my own way.

The pants and shirt were thrifted and dyed a light green. The boots, also thrifted, were painted a green gradient and the laces replaced with raffa ribbon.

The shall and scarf are both hand sewn, with a detailed leaf pattern used for the shall to mimic the pattern seen on the Aranara.

The bracers are made from worbla, with a leaf pattern carved into them and secured with raffa ribbon. The hat is glued to the wig (sprayed green) and made from EVA craft foam with wire to support the flower.
